As RuPaul’s Drag Race comes to British TV, former contestants share their makeup dos and don’t’s, from time-saving tricks to lipsticks that stay put
After 10 years of RuPaul’s Drag Race bringing drag culture to mainstream TV audiences, the UK is getting its own version of the show, filled with British “charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent” – and, of course, makeup. Drag queens are known for their exaggerated makeup: false eyelashes, bold brows and extreme contouring are all commonplace.
